Get the Care and Support You Deserve

About Me

Do any of these sound familiar?

-You struggle with saying no because you worry about upsetting others.

-You find it difficult to give yourself the same care and compassion you so easily give others.

-You prioritize what would help you stand out instead of what will bring you joy in life.

Hi! I’m Dr. Jessica Vartanyan. In addition to practicing my passion as a psychotherapist and mental health advocate, I’m a recovering people-pleaser and overachiever. I know from first hand experience how powerful and transformative psychotherapy can be when no one else seems to understand the constant pressure you feel to succeed and achieve. My therapy journey has taught me how to live a balanced life, one that is not ruled by anxiety that comes with perfectionist tendencies.

Now I’m on a mission to help others struggling with that same pressure to discover their worth outside of their achievements, connect with their true self, and live an authentic life once and for all. My hope is that other sensitive overachievers can see that it is still possible to strive towards their goals and succeed without fear of losing control.

Education and Trainings: I completed my graduate training and education at Alliant International University, Irvine. I’ve received specialized trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Clinical Anxiety Treatment. I’ve been supporting clients on their journey to healing since 2013, and I look forward to supporting many more.

My Approach

I strive to provide you with an environment that cultivates personal growth from a nurturing, non-judgmental stance. I also strive on providing individualized treatment focusing on your strengths and unique experiences. My goal as a therapist is to ensure that you leave sessions feeling empowered and ready to take on challenges that life may bring.

I also approach therapy from a collaborative standpoint which means your feedback is welcomed throughout our work together. I believe a collaborative approach is essential for us to create a trusting therapeutic relationship.
